Exhibition

The VIDEO-POETRY-WEEK combined the imaginary worlds of poetry with the audiovisual possibilities of short film and animation. Students and poets came together – the poet and the poetess became co-directors.

“It changes the way you look at the world. For you are entering a space of peace, entering a different time zone of thought…” Wim Wenders: Poetry in Motion.

During the VIDEO-POETRY-WEEK poets like Johanna Maxl, Rike Scheffler and Manuel Niedermeier met creative students and developed with them new audiovisual and installative forms of expression. These were designed and interpreted – with artistic and audiovisual tools, from poetry clips to films and interactive AR installations in space.
